About Us

Buddy Bags is a 501(c)3 non-profit collaborative project between the Princeton Elementary School Districts, the Malden School District, Saint Louis School, the Christian Academy and other area churches, organizations, and volunteers.

We are working to address childhood hunger by providing area children with snack packs on days when school is not in session. We typically try to provide a breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks on weekend days and school break days while school is in session. We do not pack during the year as teachers and schools are integral to our distribution.

The children we are helping are those whose primary source of nutrition is the free meal programs at school. It is our hope that the snack packs can provide nutrition to help the youth's growing development and ease the burden placed on parents.

Did You Come to this Site in Need of Assistance?

Buddy Bags isn't able to provide other forms of assistance. All of the children we assist are found through recommendations by Princeton area teachers.

If you have a child that you feel would benefit from this program, we invite you to speak with your child's teacher.

If you are in need of assistance we recommend that you visit the Tri-County Opportunities Council as they have a number of programs they run to provide services to those that need help. More information about area resources is available in English or in Spanish from the Tri-County Opportunities Council. The Princeton office is located at 1019 N. To make the Buddy Bags web address easier for people to find and utilize we can now be found at www.princetonbuddybags.org
The old site link will still continue to work, this is just an easier address to share with others or put on posters.
