Welcome to Buddy Bags friends and to those just checking us out.  We hope you find this information helpful and if you are near to Princeton IL we encourage you to join us for a meeting some time.  We typically get together on the first Thursday of every month and suggest you look at the calendar and announcement page below for specific dates and times.  We also have planned a variety of fundraisers and outreach opportunities, so be sure to check back and keep an eye out for our publicity in the community. If you have any questions, comments, are interested in joining our mailing list, or if you have an organization that would be interested in a presentation about Buddy Bags please contact us.

  • Sites Available for More on 34 Buddy Bags is hosting sites to sell for More on 34 on Saturday June 15 from 8-4 at the First Christian Church (125 S Main St) in Princeton.  For $10 you can get a 10 by 10 space to sell.  You keep all of your profits.  Please call 815-879-0916 or email princetonbuddybags@gmail.com if you would like to participate.  Flyers for the event can be found here   or on www.princetonbuddybags.org/documents

  • Cotton Patch Gospel to Support Buddy Bags Phil Kaufmann will present his one-man show (Cotton Patch Gospel) to support Buddy Bags.  Shows will be Saturday June 8th at 7 pm and Sunday June 9 at 3 & 7 pm at the Prairie Arts Center (24 E. Park Ave. Princeton).  General admission is $10.  For Tickets please call 815-875-2249, 815-879-0916, or email princetonbuddybags@gmail.com.  At this time we are only taking individuals names, number of tickets needed, and the show you would like.  You will pay for your ticket at the door.  Flyers and Bulletin inserts are available at www.princetonbuddybags.org/documents

  • Buddy Bags is a Year Old Buddy Bags began last May as a pilot program and a year later a lot has changed.  Beginning with 10 students, we now help over 70Started by 1 church we now have expanded into an ecumenical organization with a variety of churches and individuals participating.We began helping only the preschool age group, but now assist those in the 0-3 program to high school studentsFrom starting out only at Princeton Public Schools, we now reach out to Malden schools, Saint Louis Catholic School, and the Christian Academy.Thank You to everyone who has helped to make the Princeton Buddy Bag Program Successful.
