Buddy Bags began last May as a pilot program and a year later a lot has changed. - Beginning with 10 students, we now help over 70
- Started by 1 church we now have expanded into an ecumenical organization with a variety of churches and individuals participating.
- We began helping only the preschool age group, but now assist those in the 0-3 program to high school students
- From starting out only at Princeton Public Schools, we now reach out to Malden schools, Saint Louis Catholic School, and the Christian Academy.
Thank You to everyone who has helped to make the Princeton Buddy Bag Program Successful. |

Buddy Bags has be feature in a column on the Bureau County Republican website. You can find a link to the story here with options for sharing it with others. It is exciting to think about how much we have grown from 10 kids last May to where we are now. Not much time has past, but a lot has changed. It is great to feel that we are really able to make a difference with such a simple idea. |

If you haven't signed up yet to help with the craft and vendor show, feel free to email and we would be happy to give you a role. For those that are helping on Friday people will be at St. Matthews Lutheran Church beginning at 11:30, but we will need the most help when the exhibitors arrive at 5:00 to setup. On Saturday, we will open at 8:00 am, but if you don't mind early hours there will certainly be tasks to take on prior to opening. Thank you to all who have volunteered, we are looking forward to a fun event. |

We had a great turn out of people tonight to pack Christmas Boxes for Buddy Bags. Thank You to everyone who showed up. We didn't take a count, but I would guess we had over 50 people participate. Thanks also to the Lifesavers group at the high school and those who participated in the Giving Tree Project for providing gifts for the youth. Hopefully our work tonight will help to brighten others Christmas.
